Betcha Can't Give Away Just One!

50,000 Likes in a week for Ruffles Canada

After seeing our success with Juniper Park for Ruffles USA (100,000 Likes in 48 Hours), Frito-Lay Canada saw some potential. So they called up their agency (BBDO Toronto), who then called us with the concept of a "Mancave".

We then developed the creative, designed and built the coupon giveaway app. We also wrote the copy inhouse, which agencies usually do themselves when they work with us, so that was a fun bonus. Best of all, since we had the backend for a Ruffles coupon giveaway on Facebook already developed, we were able to repurpose some code, and pass savings along to BBDO, who passed them along to Frito-Lay. Everyone wins!

After escaping from a scarily bland suburban living room, the user descends level by level as they go through the steps of entering the contest - winding up in the very deepest of Mancaves. The campaign generated over 50,000 likes in its first week, and at the time of this post Ruffles Canada boasts 80,000 likes. We're really eating up Facebook campaigns these days. Get it? Eating up?

100,000 Likes in 48 hours!

The Vacuum and Juniper Park create a feeding frenzy for Ruffles.

People like chips, we mean they really like them!

100,000 likes in 48 hours. How 'bout that? A combination of junk food idolatry, great design by Juniper Park and Facebook wizardry from our side meant that the "Get Bagged" promotion for Ruffles was a huge success.

Just before the holidays, we helped our friends at Toronto Agency Juniper Park, by making a Facebook application to give away some free and delicious chips. It was a huge success, generating a ton of Likes in record time (like 180,000 Likes in 1 week. We like that). Get Bagged was the fastest growing page on Facebook during the week of the campaign (pretty sweet) and also included videos of some very hungry fish at dinner time... Piranhas, a fish tank and meat = Feeding Frenzy!!

Click here to see how the Feeding Frenzies were built and shot, it's a good read!
